Starting from the fact that the TV Show is based on a bunch of survivors of a plane crash on an island, that tagline already tempts me to know more about the story, since the Humans are always curious about what other people would do in really dangerous or dramatical situations. The vouyerism on other people's experiences and suffering when "is not happening to you" is something ackward that is always present on most people's minds, and that was one of the reasons I started to watch LOST a few years ago.
Since it started... I always felt a big ammount of mistery on the show. I'm an open mind person, and I always expect weird things to happen without explanation, and this show fits me perfectly. lolz.
I really loved the characters at the very first episode of it, and it's awesome to see how each one of them (the one that survived) has evolved to what they are right now. If I would have known at the beggining how complicated the storyline were gonna be and how frustrating it was going to be, I'd probably haven't watched it at all, but I was curious, and I watched the pilot years ago. Now I just can't stop watching it, and considering I have to wait till 2010 to see what happens next simply makes me tear. lol.
It's amazing to see how the storyline gets so confusing but "logical" at the same time, since the writters and producers manages to tell the story in blocks and let you know the secret information months later, right when you had a lot of theories that gets bashed by the true story behind them.
The classical romance scenes are common aswell, but the main storyline is always on top of any other things among the scripts, which makes the show to focus on what they meant to. The island!
Comparing it to other series, I really have to admire a TV show like this one, and I'm sure there won't be a similar production in the future, considering the costs and timing it involves. It will be a really sad experience for millions of people around the planet when this show gets to the end in the next year. I'm already missing it!
Anyway... This last season, the fifth one, was surely my top favourite. It had a lot of sci-fi and confusing elements that made it a really "smart" show. Every detail had something to communicate, every single object on scene had a meaning and I had to carefully watch each episode to understand several things that were floating in the air since the 1st season.
All those loose ends on the storyline were tied a lot on this season, although there are sitll a ton of misterious things liying around. I just hope some of the biggest misteries on the show gets resolved, since they make my head hurt each time I think of what the fuck they are or what the hell they do. lol.
To all the people that read this and know what I'm talking about... I'm just gonna say: WHY FARADAY HAD TO LEAVE. Lol. That was one of my fav characters after Michael Emerson's role. Go Mr. Linus. You're still on the top!
I'm tired now and I'll go to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to show you guys all the cool stuff I'm currently doing for Katie in the next days.
You love me.

I won't spoil you, but trust me, you'll have lots of answers for the questions I'm assuming you have, but with those answers (and in a typical Lost style), lots of questions will start to pop on your head.
Although I thought it was great, I can't really say it was the best season finale of the show, I agree on that with Bobbyperux.
Still, by the time it ends, I bet you'll think that you saw something like this on particular trilogy of Hollywood movies. If you don't understand what I mean, I can explain you later. At least it's my current theory.
Man, I'll have to wait another year to see if all those things they did actually will work. It's too much for me. Maybe I'll start rewatching the whole show and tie some loose ends...
