Thanks for the comment! You need an app called Avedesk to run this calendar. The calendar desklet is called "Vertical Calendar". You can get all the needed stuff at dockex.com

how does Synergy run?

Because a dual screen desktop is the win or lose of me getting a mac =)

I know there is a hardware part and even a software called Synergy, but I was talking about the Visual Style called "Synergy" which originally was a GUI theme for OS X. The Dual Display setup is possible in G4 and G5 machines, with the properly AGP dual / AGP-PCI cards.

That widget is called "Informer", look for it in google or yahoo widgets gallery. You can create little indicators such as those rss readers. Thanks for your comment on my desk!
